What happens when you drive all over the San Francisco bay area, buy all the Tap Lights there are in stock (418 of them to be exact), and put all of them up on a 15' by 8' structure? You get Tap Tap Animation, an experimental interactive installation where visitors are invited to actuate binary pixels to create (and co-create) simple patterns, images, and messages. The unexpected designs that emerged from these interactions are then captured using a time-lapse recording station that reveals the creative potential that lies within even the most common of objects.
